Cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de los usuarios finales, para mejorar la calidad de vida, y la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria y social de las personas mayores.<\/li>\n<li>El primer proyecto del BALL es un robot humanizado que ayudar\u00e1 a los pacientes que no pueden alimentarse por s\u00ed mismos. Ofrece una soluci\u00f3n adaptada a sus necesidades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Envejecer disponiendo de la m\u00e1xima calidad de vida y la mejor atenci\u00f3n sanitaria y social. \u00c9ste es el principal objetivo del <a href=\"https:\/\/ballaginglab.org\/\"><strong>Barcelona Aging coLLaboratory (BALL)<\/strong><\/a>, el primer Living Lab centrado <strong>en aportar soluciones innovadoras a las <\/strong><strong>personas mayores<\/strong> que se pone en marcha en Catalu\u00f1a y que ha sido impulsado por una amplia representaci\u00f3n de estamentos de la sociedad civil.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy ha tenido lugar la presentaci\u00f3n a los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, en el Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili, de la sede f\u00edsica del BALL y de su primer proyecto:<strong> un robot humanizado que ayudar\u00e1 a aquellas personas que no pueden alimentarse por s\u00ed mismas<\/strong>. Este robot se est\u00e1 <strong>cocreando con los usuarios finales<\/strong>, que son decisivos para conocer qu\u00e9 es lo que necesitan y, as\u00ed, poder ofrecerles una soluci\u00f3n que se adapte a sus demandas.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de dotar a los pacientes de una herramienta personalizada y de una mayor autonom\u00eda, el robot permitir\u00e1 automatizar una de les tareas m\u00e1s complejas de la log\u00edstica asistencial de los hospitales y centros residenciales, <strong>y reducir, as\u00ed, la sobrecarga del personal sanitario, optimizando el tiempo y la calidad del servicio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>El BALL, un living lab de innovaci\u00f3n alrededor del envejecimiento<\/h3>\n<p>El envejecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n catalana sigue creciendo a un ritmo acelerado y se calcula que <strong>en 2050 una de cada tres personas tendr\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 65 a\u00f1os<\/strong>. Asimismo, seg\u00fan datos del Instituto de Estad\u00edstica de Catalu\u00f1a, si el actual modelo de atenci\u00f3n no cambia, <strong>el \u00edndice de dependencia de las personas mayores tambi\u00e9n aumentar\u00e1, del 28,9 %, en 2021, hasta el 44,3%, en 2040.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ante la necesidad de desarrollar soluciones innovadoras que avancen hacia un envejecimiento activo y saludable, y que consideren la edad avanzada una oportunidad para conseguir una sociedad m\u00e1s inclusiva y, al mismo tiempo, potenciar la econom\u00eda, nace el<strong> Barcelona Aging coLLaboratory (BALL).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Living Lab ha sido impulsado por diez entidades de renombre que representan los principales \u00e1mbitos de la sociedad catalana: <strong>salud<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/perevirgili.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\">Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/vhir.vallhebron.com\/ca\">Vall d&#8217;Hebron Institut de Recerca<\/a>), <strong>rob\u00f3tica<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iri.upc.edu\/\">Institut de Rob\u00f2tica i Inform\u00e0tica Industrial, CSIC-UPC<\/a>), <strong>universidad<\/strong> (Universidad Ramon Llull, con la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blanquerna.edu\/ca\/facultat-de-ciencies-de-la-salut\">Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud Blanquerna<\/a> y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iborjabioetica.url.edu\/ca\">Institut Borja de Bio\u00e8tica<\/a>, y <a href=\"https:\/\/estudis.uoc.edu\/ca\/estudiar-online\">Universitat Oberta de Catalunya<\/a>), <strong>social<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/isocial.cat\/\">Fundaci\u00f3n iSocial<\/a>), <strong>empresa privada<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grupefebe.com\/\">Grup Efeb\u00e9<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/qida.es\/\">Qida<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universaldoctor.com\/\">UniversalDoctor<\/a>) i <strong>asociaciones de gente mayor <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatec.cat\/\">Fatec &#8211; Federaci\u00f3n de Asociaciones de Gente Mayor de Catalunya<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Este proyecto opera bajo el modelo de innovaci\u00f3n que se conoce como <strong>cu\u00e1druple h\u00e9lice<\/strong>, donde diferentes entidades y miembros de una comunidad (ciudadan\u00eda, empresa, centros de conocimiento y Administraci\u00f3n) se unen para construir juntos <strong>soluciones que sean capaces de promover el crecimiento socioecon\u00f3mico del territorio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEl BALL es un espacio o metodolog\u00eda de cocreaci\u00f3n que involucra a las personas mayores <\/strong><strong>desde un principio, en el dise\u00f1o, desarrollo, implementaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n de productos y <\/strong><strong>servicios destinados a potenciar su autonom\u00eda, integr\u00e1ndolos en la comunidad y reducir dependencias y cronicidades\u201d<\/strong>, explica el doctor Marco Inzitari, director de Atenci\u00f3n Integrada e Investigaci\u00f3n del Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili, responsable del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n en Envejecimiento, Fragilidad y Transiciones en Barcelona del Vall d&#8217;Hebron Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n (VHIR) y profesor de la UOC.<\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Inzitari, que es uno de los ide\u00f3logos y promotores del proyecto, asegura que \u201cen un momento en el que cada vez aumenta m\u00e1s la esperanza de vida, pero no la calidad, <strong>el objetivo final del Living Lab es poner a las personas en el centro y que tomen el control de su salud y de su
