Surface: 2 terraces of 85 m²
Phase: Project and execution
Duration: 2 months
Typology: Corporate outdoor spaces

The starting point was clear:
Two outdoor terraces with enormous potential – due to their panoramic views over the city – remained underused and out of regulations.
Each one had a differentiated use:
Management terrace, more private
Canteen and co-creation terrace, intended for collective use, informal meetings and events
The challenge was to transform these spaces into safe, comfortable and versatile areas, capable of integrating into the daily dynamics of the company and becoming a real extension of the work environment.

The project approached the transformation from a comprehensive vision: regulations, functionality, aesthetics and sustainability had to coexist coherently.
The first step was to ensure the safety of both terraces.
The existing railings were reinforced by incorporating a continuous glass front, which prevents any possibility of scaling and provides a lighter, sleeker and more contemporary image, without interfering with the views.
The floors, very deteriorated by the passage of time, were subjected to a deep cleaning to recover their appearance and functionality.
At the same time, the electrical and lighting installations were renewed, replacing old projectors with more efficient systems and adding power outlets that allow the terraces to be used for meetings, music, events or work with electronic devices.
One of the terraces’ greatest assets was the original planters, housing mature and colorful plants.
Instead of replacing them, they were revitalized using Polygood, a material made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic provided by Revolución Limo, resistant to the elements and with a clear, elegant finish.
This choice enhanced the terrace aesthetic and reinforced Wamos Air’s commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.

Both terraces were furnished with Vondom outdoor furniture, chosen directly from the Valencia showroom to ensure a coherent combination of materials, colors, and finishes.
Executive terrace
A lounge, private atmosphere, with modular sofas and low tables for informal meetings, strategic discussions, or moments of relaxation with views.
Co-creation terrace
A dynamic, flexible space, combining:
dining areas
bar zones
relaxation corners
This variety allows the terrace to serve both daily employee use and corporate events.

A key feature in the co-creation terrace is the social bar, a perimeter structure integrating one of the planters, surrounded by a circular bar with stools and lighting that highlights the central tree.
This has become the social hub, where conversations, ideas, coffee breaks, afterworks, and creativity meet — activating spontaneous use and strengthening corporate culture.
Since the terraces surround the entire floor, it was necessary to visually delimit intervention areas.
Tall anthracite planters were added to define the spaces, provide extra greenery, and reinforce a sober, elegant, and architectural aesthetic.

Today, Wamos Air terraces are more than just outdoor areas:
informal work zones
wellbeing spaces
venues for networking and events
a powerful branding tool
Two previously neglected areas have been transformed into safe, comfortable, and identity-rich corporate terraces, where architecture, design, and sustainability converge to enhance the daily experience of employees.
A project demonstrating that investing in outdoor spaces is investing in culture, brand, and people.
