The team at Grup Efebé undertook the design and renovation of the new TransPerfect headquarters in Lisbon. This hybrid office space, located in the capital of Portugal, was designed to reflect the multinational’s new working model.
Once again, TransPerfect entrusted our team with this office renovation project. Specifically, the renovated hybrid offices are situated on Avenida D. João II, a prime location with stunning sea views.
The goal was to turn the workplace into an attractive and functional hybrid office space, one that supported the well-being of those working in ti. This project marked the beginning of TransPerfect’s European expansion, with new hybrid offices in various countries, all following a unified style—aimed at reinforcing TransPerfect’s new corporate identity.
The multinational has implemented a hybrid work model for their employees worldwide. Now, the implementation of this model through their hybrid office spaces is a reality. In Lisbon, we created an innovative and efficient environment that combines spaces for focused work with areas designed for team collaboration. All was custom-designed and manufactured by Efebé, tailoring every corner of the hybrid offices to meet the specific needs of every stakeholder—such as group training sessions, individual cabins or meeting rooms.
Our hybrid office design features a one-to-one meeting room to promote direct communication. The team also benefits from a WorkCafé area to foster more personal connections among employees.
Additionally, we implemented co-creation spaces with our versatile Manual Thinking furniture and adaptable modular bleachers with Sentat cushions, an ergonomic and aesthetic option. We also incorporated swings to create break-out areas within the office.
We installed acoustically-insulated cabins to make phone and video calls, or conducting meetings without disturbing or being disturbed by the rest of the team.
With all of this, we created various independent areas within the hybrid office space to enhance employee focus and concentration, knowing that a lack of acoustic comfort can have a negative impact on productivity as well as overall well-being.
